Shame the thread got hijacked by the 'dark theme fanboys' but it reddit and they're young an don't care. Personally I'm not a fan of the new look and don't intend to use it dark themed I have no intention of going down that road!, however I have no problem with 4.4.5 and will now focus on other torrent apps, I've heard good things about BiglyBT although it is frustratingly complicated for a beginner, oh well. So your choices now are put up with the neon colours and an app that's getting coded going down a dark themed path or revert back to 4.4.5 and stick with that until something causes it to stop functioning. but its very unlikely given the growing popularity for dark themed applications. It's obvious now that didn't happen, 4.5.1 is just as messed up as 4.5.0, so will it happen for a future release, will this mess get sorted out? who knows. But the issue is being fixed, I'd expect a 4.5.1 version any day/moment now. I'm assuming all the devs have dark theme windows and it been colour coded for that that's why it looks ok in a dark theme but not so good in a light one

Qbittorrent is now focusing on dark themes rather than light and due to the limitations of the code its obviously not possible to have the option to select one or the other but rather is 'hardcoded' and will stay like that, and although we were promised a fix. It's a long term request to have integrated native dark theme support, but available Qt code and qBittorrent code wasn't ready enough.

If lucky then someone will figure out how to essily have text colors changed and UI color be set by the user or by according to OS systems own set theme without any restarts and using only with the available Qt code without installing or using any costum faulty theme files. This is major release first release and nobody forces to use it.

After restarting apache and qbittorrent, as well as clearing page cache, I got the same results as before.

The webui contents were copied from the extracted 4.5.1 sources (project root/src/webui/www moved to publichtml placement for apache). Otherwise contributors and developers can't continue to start on implementing or use native OS specific Qt dark theme of qBittorrent for all users if some are forced to use black text for all torrents by default. I uninstalled qbittorrent, re-installed updated version, and finally re-created the webui html folder. I think that colors where chosen to be visible in both on dark and light background and where made to be consistent with the new icons. I don't want theme files, I want native Qt code to be dynamic or atleast not see black text again if I wish to change my OS and qBittorrent to have native integrated Dark Theme support! Black text is not visible if I use OS native Dark Theme and switch qBittorrent to have black background without using any theme files! Black text on white background makes me think torrents are stopped, paused or stalled!
